HOW TO USE
Open out a wax wrap, and flex and fold it to loosen it up. It may be a little stiff from being folded and sent out to you. Use the heat of your hands to fold and mold the wrap over, under, or around anything you want to cover. Once warmed up a little, the wrap will release its naturally adhesive self-sealing finish to seal to a bowl or dish, or to secure to itself to create a tight but breathable seal.
- Don’t wrap with anything warm or hot! Whether that’s washing under warm water, putting in the oven, microwave, or wrapping a dish that’s still hot, it will melt the wax straight off the wrap. Avoid all naked flames as the wax is highly flammable!
- Avoid using raw meat or fish, as cross-contamination may occur on its next use.
- Avoid storing anything super acidic or oily for too long as it will break down the wax and decrease the wrap's life.
- Suitable for fridge and freezer. Not suitable for microwaves or exposure to hot temperatures.
When cleaning vegan wax and beeswax wraps, most of the time a quick brush down or wipe with a cold damp cloth will do. However if a more thorough clean is needed, a wrap can be washed in COLD water, using mild dishwashing soap. Don’t be afraid to give it a good scrub with a sponge or hard brush, then rinse off and hang up to dry.
The 100% organic cotton is hardwearing and with careful use will keep going for around a year. If rewaxed it can last even longer. At the end of its life, it can be composted.
If the wrap becomes faded and frayed you can refresh it with the wax repair kit. Or cut it into strips, twist it, and use it as environmentally friendly firelighters. They are completely waterproof and slow-burning, perfect for campfires, BBQs, and firesides. Alternatively, pop it in with the compost - it's made of all-natural materials that will naturally biodegrade.
- Wash in COLD water with eco-friendly dish soap. No microwaves or hot temperatures.
- Lasts one year or longer
- Fully biodegradable and compostable at the end of its life - sustainable and eco!

ABOUT THE BRAND
The Beeswax Wrap Co. is an independent, female-led company producing handmade beeswax and plant-based wraps from its workshop in Cotswolds, UK.
Founder Fran started making wraps in her kitchen in early 2017 in a bid to cut as much plastic as possible from everyday life. Over the next two years, the unique wax formulas were perfected through trial and error to create a range of handmade, plastic-free, planet-friendly reusable wraps.
From the very outset, Fran and the team have been focused on putting the environment first in all areas of the business. Their mission is to make a small but positive difference in a kind and thoughtful way, both through the products they sell and the way they operate. The materials, community and process behind the products are just as important as the final plastic-free product itself.
The company moved to a new and bigger workshop fitted with solar panels, allowing it to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels. It is also a member of the Surfers Against 250 Club, so not only are you choosing a product that will last, but you are also supporting a company that is making decisions that have a positive impact on our environment and our community.
The Beeswax Wrap Co. is proud to be B Corp certified – part of a network of businesses that balances purpose and profit. It is actively reducing its carbon generation with The Planet Mark - a sustainability certification that verifies and measures carbon and social data to reduce emissions and achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
