Beeswax Food Wraps - Beginner Set

The Beginner Set comes in a variety of bee-autiful designs, and includes three of our most useful Wax Wraps that will come in handy in every kitchen and beyond!

Each Beginner Set contains one Small (20 x 20 cm), one Medium (26 x 26 cm) and one Large (33 x 33 cm) Wax Wrap. You can use them to wrap everything from half an avocado to a dish of leftovers and a lump of cheese, to a loaf of bread.

SuperBee Wax Wraps are an eco-friendly, long-lasting alternative to plastic wrap. They easily cover food and dishes, forming a tight seal to keep your food fresh, clean, and safe without any waste.

These award-winning beeswax wraps are ethically handmade, sustainable, high quality, and certified food safe. Plus, they’re antibacterial, washable, reusable, and compostable.

Once you have received your Superbee's Wax Wrap, the wraps will be a bit stiff. Make them flexible by making a ball of the wrap. The warmth of your hands makes the cloth flexible and a bit more sticky. When you have unfolded this, the wrapping can begin.

Place the food on the wrap (turn it over in a bowl). Fold the beeswax wrap around it. It is important that the wrap sticks to itself. You can achieve this by gently pressing the wrap, just like with cling film.

If you have nothing left to pack and you want to keep the cloth, all you have to do is rinse it with cold water and ecological soap. Rinse the Superbee's Wax Wrap and hang it up. The wrap is completely ready to use when it is dry.

Superbee was born out of growing concern about the safety of plastic. The beeswax cloths are locally produced and the ingredients come from local farmers in Thailand who do not use chemicals and pesticides.

In addition to the environment, Superbee considers working conditions very important! In addition, a lot of attention has been paid to creating an ethical and safe workplace. Superbee offers women in the north of Thailand employment with good wages. It is not for nothing that the Fair Trade Association recommends Superbee.

Superbee comes from Thailand, but we deliver these wraps from the Netherlands. They come to the Netherlands in large quantities in a sustainable way, which means that we reduce CO2 emissions.
